Tick tock, shoppers - these deals won’t last long. I would recommend a Tabby of any kind - pillow, hobo, original - they are so chic and will last you a lifetime.ĮTA: if you’re looking to buy Coach secondhand (which is always a great option, I work at a vintage store so I’m a big fan of that), the way to distinguish between outlet and boutique is the logo: the Coach logo with the horse and carriage on top of the name is from the outlet. But, if you’re like me and your only hobby is handbags and accessories, it might be worth your while.Ĭoach has some of the best leather out there - I love their glove tanned leather the best. ![]() If you like a bag and want to wait to see if it’ll transfer to outlet, you can do that - I wouldn’t count on it though as it’s pretty random what gets sent over. These transfer bags can be found towards the back of the outlet store. I will say this - the regular stores do outlet transfers where they send slightly damaged or out of season bags to the outlet to be sold at up to 75% off. They are definitely not made with the same care and attention to detail. Every time we would do a handbag warranty exchange, it was for an outlet bag. The outlet bags are designed and manufactured for the outlet and are of lesser quality. I used to work at Kate Spade (which is owned by the same company, Tapestry) and I would strongly advise going with Coach instead of Coach Outlet. While it's really pretty online, I'm worried about quality and also would like something a little more durable and a little less flashy (but still adorable). There is a coach store about an hour and a half away from me that I'm hoping to make a pilgrimage to soon, but I'm trying to get a grasp of what I'm looking at first.Īny general guidance is appreciated! I can't say I'm very good at this - I recently purchased a kurt geiger mini rainbow leather kensington with crystals and while I don't have it in hand yet, I'm starting to regret not reading more reviews of that designer or finding more pictures of the products out in the wild before handing over 250 bucks. I don't really see anything like the bag I used to have (RIP) but I'm not married to that particular bag, I just want something cute and chic. I saw somewhere that outlets are sometimes designers passing off crummier products, is Coach Outlet any good? What coach bags (outlet or otherwise) are faves for everyday use? I'd like leather or at least mostly leather, I tend to like colorful bags (pinks are always good!) and I don't like going too big, but I'm not sure if some of these minis and saddles are going to be too small. I'm trying to determine the best way to go about this. ![]() Point being, I am looking to buy a coach bag because I have a little bit of money to spare on a luxury thing like that and for some reason it means a lot to me to buy one of my mom's favorite brands on my own. I believe other family members got the rest of her (fairly small) collection at the time of her passing. I loved it and used it all through high school and college, but after eight years it was a little worn and I think it might have wound up in a goodwill box when my dad moved (so I'm hoping it is being loved somewhere!). My late mom really liked coach, and my first nice handbag was a wide pink one with green lining and lots of pockets that she bought for me back in about 2007 (I can't remember if it was from an outlet or a clearance sale from a regular Coach). Hi all! I have only recently started getting into handbags. ![]()
